'Tis the Season ...which for kitten availability means the middle part of the year during the warmer months. When Kitten Season ends every year, worn-out mother cats, tired foster homes and exhausted shelter workers are relieved. However, the end of Kitten Season also signals a good time for teenage kittens and adult cats to finally find a "forever" home of their own!

These older animals are often overlooked when competing for homes with cute, cuddly baby kittens. So the winter months are a great time for older animals to be adopted! Both playful teens and adult animals have the extra advantage of identifiable personality traits to make a good match with your situation and they are usually calmer with better manners than a young, rambunctious kitten whose high activity level may not be good for all homes.
