Meet Marie Barnes, who started volunteering with Town Cats in 2003.

Marie adopted a beautiful Siamese adult cat from us many years ago and she thought she'd like to be involved by helping at our shelter. Marie has helped at adoption fairs but her main joy is coming to Town Cats shelter once a week and doing the night shift which gives her the opportunity to unwind after a very busy workday. She not only makes sure the cats needs are taken care of, she also spends a lot of quality time with them petting and enjoying their company. Marie is a true believer that the cats give her more back than what she gives to them.
