Meet Anna De Vita, Town Cats March 2005 Volunteer of the Month extraordinaire!

Anna is truly a "Cat Angel" come to earth...she does whatever is needed to help the hundreds of cats that Town Cats provides services to each year with a smile on her face! Anna runs our adoption fairs at the Pet Food Express store on Lawrence and Stevens Creek every Saturday and helps coordinates adoption fairs and other events we hold elsewhere too. She does feral cat trapping projects - showing people how to
use the traps themselves or in many cases, doing the trapping then transporting the cats to/from local vets. Anna also helps as our San Jose shelters liaison and coordinates getting cats out of the San Jose shelter and Humane Society of Silicon Valley before they are put to sleep. We put them in foster care (kittens and moms with kittens) or bring them to our shelter and find them homes. Anna loves working with the cats and the high point of her day is finding a kitty a forever home!
