This month we'd like to thank Janiece for joining our excellent Town Cats Volunteers!!

Janiece came to us through a friend. A current volunteer had received an email plea asking for fosters. We had found several kittens in a homeless encampment and needed to find a place for them to live while they recovered from illness and were old enough to be adopted. This volunteer immediately thought of Janiece and brought her down the next night. From the first time Janiece walked in to town cats, she’s been a very important part of our work.

To date, Janiece has fostered quite a few litters. She experienced kittens with upper respiratory infections, cats who had to have eyes removed, kittens with ringworm and many other maladies. In a very brief period of time, Janiece has been through what most foster home take years to experience. Talk about trial by fire. And….she has handled it all with grace and love for the kittens. The cats are truly lucky to have a foster home like hers.
