Meet Nurit Nieuchowicz, Town Cats February 2008 Volunteer of the Month!

Meet Nurit Nieuchowicz, a Town Cats volunteer and adopter too! Nurit started coming to the Town Cats shelter in Morgan Hill late nights after she finished working in San Jose. The drive and weather did not deter her, she just loves the cats! She will sit with them for hours petting, brushing, playing, cuddling with them to give them much needed comfort and love.

She fell in love with many of the cats at our shelter and finally chose Arielle, a one eyed black and white female who came in with her kitten last summer and Figaro, a black and white teenaged male. Nurit also helps with our adoption center at the Petco Blossom Hill checking on the cats there and cleaning their cages, taking them out and holding them etc. She's a great help to all the cats, and we just couldn't do this without people like Nurit!
