Stray Cat Strut! Town Cats 1st Ever Virtual 7k Race

2. Create a Facebook fundraiser for Town Cats on your page to promote the event and seek support from friends and family. Our goal is to raise 50k, so set your goal amount as high as you like! https://www.facebook.com/fund/TownCatsOfMorganHill/
3. Keep us posted and share your progress on this group page! We would love to see your custom bibs, along with getting updates of your fundraising efforts!
4. Registration closes on September 30 at midnight PDT and medals will be mailed out mid-October.
5. As an added incentive, we will be awarding the participant with the highest amount of money raised by featuring their cat on our Town Cats custom tee shirt that will debut in October!
More Information:
Everyone who registers will get an awesome 3” medal featuring Brian “Setzpurr”, Lee “Whisker”, and Slim Jim “Pheline” on the front and our Town Cats logo on the back! It comes on a custom, dye-sublimated ribbon with Velcro attachment so it works on all medal hangers. Participants will also get a custom digital bib that you can print out or use online…and you get to pick any name and number you want! Make it fun!
This event is “virtual” meaning that you can complete the distance any way you want! You can walk, hike, run, skip, jump or dance your 7k in your neighborhood, on your treadmill, around your backyard, or anywhere you want! You can even break up the distance and complete it over several days to make it more manageable!
This event is on the honor system, so we don’t need “proof” of completion. As long as you’re registered, you’ll get a medal. Completing the distance is up to you!
Your registration is a tax-deductible donation to Town Cats and will help us continue our mission of saving more cats! Town Cats has rescued, helped, and adopted out thousands of friendly cats to loving families….and with your registration for this virtual event, you’ll help us do even more! Your support is greatly appreciated in a combined effort to raise a goal of $50k for our shelter operations through the fall end.
