2018 Year End Campaign – Help create a Building Fund for our Shelter, or participate in our Name-a-Space program!

Our 2018 Year End goal is to raise $50,000 for our Shelter Building Fund, and we need your help!

This has been an exciting year for Town Cats. We have enhanced our programs, saved more lives, increased our community involvement, expanded our reach, and made some major improvements at our shelter. With these expansions, comes the need to establish a Building Fund to help make further improvements and renovations to our shelter. Throughout 2018 we have begun upgrades to our facilities, the most needed being the construction of various rooms for medical and comfort of the incoming cats. For the coming year, our goal is to complete construction of these rooms as well as renovate the existing rooms to make our shelter refreshed for the cats as they await their forever home.

In addition to the rooms, our biggest need in the shelter is to replace the individual housing for our cats. The current housing was purchased second-hand several years ago and is in need of replacement. Some of our cats have become escape artists and are able to open the housing doors and roam the shelter at night making for a panicked staff in the morning. The need for new housing units is a priority to our shelter and we need your help!

Name-a-Space Program

Now you can be a part of the Town Cats Legacy! For the first time we are offering naming rights to the rooms at our shelter; a perfect holiday gift or tribute for yourself, someone you love, or the furry feline in your life.
The shelter has undergone major improvements in 2018 and as a result we have 5 new rooms in our shelter that need names! Our staff has already appropriately named our adorable new kitten room Mini Kitty City and we need your help with the others!

The following rooms are available for naming rights:

Our Large Community Cat Room – $1500

Currently called “Side-A” this room is where our cats roam freely and where the community comes to visit and spend time with our cats. It’s an open space with countless beds, cat trees, fitness wheel, and plenty of space for the cats to run around and play.

Our Large Intake Room – $1000

Currently called “Side-B” this room is where all of the cats are housed during the intake process. The majority of our cages are placed in this room as cats are also kept here while they wait to undergo medical treatment and screening. Once they have been cleared, they are then transferred to Side-A.

Our 2 Meet and Greet Rooms – $500 (each)

Private rooms used to offer one-on-one time with a prospective cat.

Our Isolation Room for Kitty Recovery – $500

Specifically designed to provide a comfortable environment for recovering cats as they heal.

With your donation, you will receive an engraved plaque on the wall with your name, the name of the room, and who the room is in tribute to or in memory of (if applicable), as well as a photo of yourself, your tribute, or your furry companion! Additionally, when the room is ready to be revealed, you can attend a special ribbon cutting ceremony honoring your new space. These legacy plaques are limited and the perfect way to show your Town Cats pride!
