Just because one organization is at capacity doesn’t mean others are, so don’t lose hope—there may still be help available.
When reaching out to rescue groups or shelters, sharing as many details as possible can make a big difference. Try to include information like the situation, urgency, the animal’s history, color, sex, age, personality, reason for rehoming, and any medical history. Most rescues are run by dedicated volunteers and depend on donations rather than government funding, but they will do their best to assist when they can.
