Brad Thomas Parsons will be giving a talk about his new book, Distillery Cats: Profiles in Courage of the World’s Most Spirited Mousers at Omnivore Books on October 7th from 3pm to 3:45pm.
Based on the viral PUNCH piece and subsequent hit NPR story, Distillery Cats tells the whimsical tale of working cats in distilleries around the world, brought to life by renowned spirits writer Brad Thomas Parsons, with charming illustrations of the beloved mousers.
In honor of Distillery Cats, Noe Valley Pet Company will be hosting a Town Cats adoption fair from 1 to 4pm. They’re located right next door to Omnivore Books, making this the perfect opportunity for cat lovers to play with adoptable, adorable kittens before meeting Parsons and learning more about distillery cats.
