are never "put to sleep" but have a home here with us where they're
treated like our own pets until they're adopted, or they can live the rest
of their lives here in peace. Even our overhead is 100% for the cats
- your money will pay for the shelter rent, utilities, food, supplies,
vet bills. You can rest assured that your money will go to care for

Whether running or not, your old car, motorcycle, van, truck, boat or RV can be turned into cash for the kitties! And yes, donations are tax deductible! Please call us at 408-779-5761 and leave a message, we'll be happy to return your call and arrange the vehicle donation. Have a vehicle not listed above, that you want to donate? Call us and see if we can use it!
What your Money Can Buy
So that you can get a better idea of what monetary donations can accomplish, we've outlined some common charges here. Any amount is very much appreciated, and making a donation of an amount that covers one of these items can give you an even greater sense of having made a difference in these animals' lives.
Wish List
We also have a wish list for
donated items. Any of these items may be dropped off at the donation bins in
the Pet Food Express stores in San Jose, Santa Clara and Los Gatos, or you may
call (408) 779-5761 to arrange to drop off larger items. All the volunteers at
Town Cats, and all the cats that we help, thank you.
Agnews Developmental Center Project
These are Senior Feral Cats located at Agnews Developmental Center in San Jose which is a state facility which has just closed. Town Cats has gained permission to care for the 50 cats living on the grounds there (approximately 88 acres). The facility is for sale and we need to relocate many of the cats.

Who says "Age before beauty", as if they are mutually exclusive? Not these kitties. These kitties are only a few of Town Cats "senior catizens." But don't let the age fool you, these cats have as much spunk, playfulness, and love as those young whipper snappers, and so much more.
